Governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have written President Muhammadu Buhari complaining over the list of 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees recently sent to the Senate for confirmation and approval.
This was disclosed by Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom while speaking to State House correspondents on Monday.
Recall that the governors had earlier had a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari where they made their complaints known.
It was reported that the governors were asked to put their grievances into writing.
Ortom said the governors have written to President Buhari, who he said has started attending to their grievances.
Ortom said “it is the prerogative of Mr. President to do appointments, but where there is need, we always give support.
“We have written where we have reservations, and it is being attended to.”
