Bolanle Austen-Peters is on the line-up of speakers for the October edition of Covenant Christian Centre’s biannual event, The Platform. The producer of the critically acclaimed movie, 93 Days and founder of Terra Kulture will be making her first appearance at The Platform on independence day.
The event which is to hold at The Covenant Place, beside National Theatre, Iganmu also has on its line-up, the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi and former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Dr. Olisa Agbakoba SAN.
Others are Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Senior Pastor of Daystar Church; Bishop Matthew Kukah, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto; Prof. Rev. Osaghae Eghosa, Vice-Chancellor, Igbinedion University and Olusegun Adeniyi, Chairman, Editorial Board of ThisDay Newspaper.
As is the practice at previous editions, each of the speakers will be dissecting different topics that relate to the polity, economy and societal development in Nigeria and the roles of the Church in all of these.
According to Pastor Poju Oyemade, founder of Covenant Christian Centre and visionary of The Platform, this edition “intends to speak words into the heart of this nation that will serve as the sprinkling of salt into the spiritual atmosphere to create peace, order and progress so that the higher ideals of life can be attained.”
The event starts at 9am and admission is free.
