About 24 hours after blowing up two pipelines in Bayelsa state, militant group, Niger Delta Avengers have again, blown up the Trans-Forcados Pipeline.
The Forcados 48″ export line, which is operated by SPDC, belongs to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
The Avengers initially attacked the Shell’s Forcados underwater flow line in February and the facility was undergoing repairs when it was again, blown up around 3:00am on Friday morning.
The group said it had warned against the repair of the pipeline but the SPDC refused to heed their warning.
At 3:00 am today @NDAvengers blow up the SPDC forcados 48″ Exportline. We warned SPDC not to go ahead with repair works but they refuse.
