Kano state governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has stated that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, is way healthier than President Goodluck Jonathan.

Of recent, the debate about the health status of Buhari had been at the forefront of political discourse, especially from chieftains of the ruling party, case in point, Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose.

Fayose had alleged that the opposition party’s flag-bearer was not healthy and had travelled to the United Kingdom to seek medical attention, a statement which had been refuted by the APC.

However, Kwankwaso is of the opinion that Buhari is more hale and hearty than the aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He made the statement on Sunday, February 22, while addressing journalists in Kano.

Kwankwaso said: “By my judgement, since we finished our party primary elections, he is sound, hale and fit to rule this country. In fact I feel he is healthier than the incumbent occupier of the seat because he went to all the states on campaigns in addition to other engagements that come in between.”
