Buhari requests approval from Senate to appoint 15 advisers

President Muhammadu Buhari has requested the approval of the Senate to appoint 15 Special Advisers.

The Special Advisers will assist him to carry out his functions as President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

Senate President, David Mark, read the request letter on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday, June 2, stating that it (the request) was in accordance with Section 151 (1), (2), (3) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
