The nature of the relationship between Nigerian politicians and the media is a love-hate one.
Sometimes, they work together in accord, other times, they are at loggerheads.
The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, belives he’s hated by Punch Newspapers.
After his accreditation on Saturday, Emmanuel refused to grant journalists interview at Awa-Iman Ward 1, Unit 2 at Onna Local Government Area.
He said: “I cannot talk because PUNCH hates PDP,” after which he walked away with over 100 security operatives he came with to his polling unit.
