A 29-year-old suspected burglar has been arrested by the police for breaking into a house and stealing a bag jewelry belonging to the homeowner.
Dion Davis was, however, found sleeping soundly on a bed in the victim’s house with the stolen items right by his side.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, a cleaning lady discovered him on the bed and called the police to report the incident on Monday.
Deputies say they took several photographs of the sleeping Davis, but he didn’t wake up.
He was later charged with burglary and booked into jail on $10,000 bail.
We imagine that must have been a rude awakening.
