A community in Delta State, Osissa community in the Ndokwa-East Local Government Area is currently protesting the alleged killing of three members of the community by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

According to Punch, the protesters are also holding the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Festus Ovie Agas, and his convoy hostage.

It was gathered that the SSG’s convoy along the Ughelli-Asaba express at about 6:55am.

It was also learnt that travellers were stranded in the protest.

Two herdsmen had allegedly attacked earlier and were arrested by officers from the Ashaka Police Station.

It was reported that the herdsmen attacked again on Sunday evening, killing at least three persons in the community.
