Vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, was spotted on the streets of Lagos standing before a roasted plantain (Booli) seller.
As expected, Twitter went into overdrive as supporters and non-supporters of the man – who wants to be Nigeria’s vice president – had their say about the act.
Below are a few of what the folks on Twitter said:
#Osinbajo spotted buying booli and playing to the gallery. Omisore trended for 2 days cos he did this. #ForwardNG pic.twitter.com/IV8axz0rpG

As a ‘pastor’ #Osinbajo only preaches in churches with A.C. Now he wants your vote, he’s going to the market. Fraud! pic.twitter.com/9FA8fflFe6
