An estranged 28-year-old housewife, Tosin Adekunle, on Wednesday dragged her husband to a customary court at Ado-Ekiti for  a divorce, over allegations of battery, adultery, lack of affection and neglect of their two children.

Mrs. Adekunle also accused her husband of failing in his conjugal duties, beating her to a point of death and throwing her out of their matrimonial home.

She also alleged that Tope  had impregnated  their pastor’s daughter.

Vanguard Newspaper reports:

According to her, she can no longer bear the negative attitude of her estranged husband.

However, Tope did not show up in court to defend himself on the allegations.

The President of the court, Mr Joseph Ogunsemi, adjourned the case to Nov. 4 for further hearing.
