‘Sometimes, killing is a blessing’ – Cleric

The Rivers State Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Edison Daminabo, has told Christians not to avenge the killings of their fellows in the northern part of the country.

Daminabo said this in Port Harcourt on Tuesday while speaking to journalists.

He said even as clerics were being killed in the North, Christianity will still thrive.

He also said the killings will strengthen the religion, while stating that Christians who take up revenge will not make heaven.

Daminabo said, “Sometimes, killing is a blessing. We will not revenge, because we don’t fight for God. Any Christian that fights back will not make heaven.

“The crusade is the vanguard that will bring relief to the people of the state. It will take care of the kidnapping and killings in the state.”
