She’s currently starring as Fairy Sparkle in the Kings Theatre’s pantomime, Sleeping Beauty in Portsmouth, but there’s nothing magical about Danniella Westbrook’s latest move.
On Friday, the 40-year-old posted a dangerous picture of herself cramped inside a tumble dryer which could set a bad example to anyone who tries to copy her.
She accompanied the tweet with the words: ‘We have a game at work, between shows 2 pass the time ! Taking random pictures! Here’s me in costume ! #PantoMadness’ [sic]
But clearly not everyone was impressed by the picture as a fan replied to the tweet by posting a link to a tragic story that MailOnline ran in 2010 about a boy who died after playing hide-and-seek in a tumble dryer.
Earlier this month, the former EastEnders actress told The Portsmouth News that her pantomime character is just like the one she played in BBC1 soap EastEnders.
She said: ‘Fairy Sparkle is a little bit like Sam Mitchell I think, but a lot more dizzy. It’s really good fun.
‘Pantomimes are always great and it really gets you in the spirit. You come together to work with lots of different actors and dancers.
‘It’s good to be part of a production that’s so much fun and it’s not taken too seriously by the audience.‘
Appearing alongside Danniella is 2012 X Factor finalist, Christopher Maloney, who will appear in the performance as the Prince. The show will run until January 5.
Danniella’s clearly a busy lady at the moment and later in the day she Tweeted:
‘So finished the show , did asda shop, now at home cleaning before the family arrive tomorrow 2 see one of the 3 shows ! #SleepNeeded #busy!’ [sic]
This time last year, Danniella appeared on Channel 4 as ex-convict Trudy in Hollyoaks and she’s also enjoyed success on the fifth series of Dancing On Ice.
A spokesperson for Danniella Westbrook declined to comment to MailOnline.
