Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has reportedly married, Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa, the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Musdafa.
The new bride, who is only 18, recently completed her secondary school education.
Sa’adatu would be the fourth wife of the Emir, who already has three wives- Sadiya, Maryam and Rakiya.
Premium Times reports that the secret wedding was done quietly ceremony in Yola on Friday.
The wedding Fatiha was said to have taken place inside the palace of the Emir, right after Jumma’at prayer.
