Kevin Hart publicly apologises to his family following extortion scandal
Comic act, Kevin Hart is waist deep in a cheating scandal that now involves the FBI and will take more than an apology to dissolve.
TMZ reports that an unnamed person contacted Hart’s team demanding a “multi-million dollar amount” to keep a video that shows him and a woman in a “sexually provocative situation” private. They added that “FBI agents think they know the identity of the culprit.”
In what is a clear case of extortion, the extortionist released a statement saying that her endgame is to “expose Kevin and make money”.
It also read, “The real reason Kevin Hart orchestrated the Texas Hurricane Relief Fund, this so-called good deed was done to get ahead as he knew this damaging footage was one click away from being exposed as the liar and cheater he is”
In the light of the mess, Hart posted an apology to his wife and children via Instagram on Sunday declaring that he “made a bad error in judgement and put myself in an environment where only bad things can happen and they did,”.
