A female suicide bomber, has killed several people and injured about 26 others, in an attack on a market in Nannawaji village of Gujba LGA of Yobe State.
The female bomber carried out the attack on Tuesday, June 23, by detonating an Improvised Explosive Device.
An eyewitness, Mallam Adamu, told Channels Television that the suicide bomber attacked the market around 10:30 in the morning.
Adamu said that several people were killed but was unable to ascertain the exact figure. “The market was in disarray after the attack,” he said.
Those injured in the bombing have been taken to the Damaturu specialist’s hospital for treatment.
