Nigerian troops have killed some fleeing members of the Boko Haram insurgent group, at the Sabsawa axis of Sambisa forest.
This dvevelopment was disclosed on Friday, in a statement released by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Sani Usman.
Troops of 21 Brigade Bama, under 7 Division area were said to have carried out the raid, during which they recovered a Toyota Hilux, 2 AK-47 rifles with registration numbers 58006915 and KO 35839, as well as 37 rounds of 12.7mm metal linked ammunition.
According to the statement, during the encounter, one officer sustained injury but he’s said to be in stable condition.
