A Forte Oil petrol tanker burst into flames in the wee hours of Saturday at Barracks bus stop, in Ojuelegba.
According to an eye-witness report, the petrol tanker fell off the Ojuelegba bridge and exploded upon impact with the ground.
The fire was said to have spread through the canal in the area.
Babies and mothers are currently being evacuated from Randle General Hospital (Mother and Child) in Surulere, after the building beside the hospital got affected by the fire.
