Finally, finally, it’s 2019 and HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones makes a final comeback after its seventh season wrapped up in 2017, and ushered in a long spell of withdrawal symptoms and inertia. But the wait is over, fellow sons and daughters of Daenerys or [insert whatever cocky GoT character you fancy]. Reportedly, the final volume returns in April with the hashtag #ForTheThrone buzzing on social media last year, and thus stoking anticipation.
Furthermore, the new season will have just six episodes clocking at 80 minutes or more. It’s going to be intense, packed, taut and with high stakes. We are ready.
