US President Donald Trump has said he is ‘extremely pleased’ that news channel, CNN has been exposed as fake news.
Amid a flurry of tweets on Saturday, Trump said it was about time the media organisation was exposed.
He tweeted, “I am extremely pleased to see that @CNN has finally been exposed as #FakeNews and garbage journalism. It’s about time!”
For the third time, the President also came forMSNBC co-anchors Joe Scarborough and Mike Brzezinski.
At the end of Scarborough and Brzezinski’s show, “Morning Joe” on Thursday, Trump had insulted both of them in a pair of tweets.
He said, “Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!”
Trump also accused MSNBC’s parent company of firing anchor Greta Van Susteren for refusing to go along with the network’s negative coverage of him and his administration.
“Word is that @Greta Van Susteren was let go by her out of control bosses at @NBC & @Comcast because she refused to go along w/ ‘Trump hate!'” Trump wrote on Twitter.
