A 12-year-old boy’s dream came true when legendary rapper, Jay Z, invited him on stage during a concert last night.
The star rapper was thanking fans and interacting with the crowed when he spotted the bold boy holding up a sign that read: “Can I rap for you?”
The young rapper began rapping his idol’s verse from the hit song Clique, before he was interrupted by the star to skip the age-non-appropriate part and encouraged him to finish the rhyme.
According to the Mirror report:
Jay can be heard telling him to skip the “drug dealing part” and encouraged him to finish the rhyme.
For the first time in his hip-hop career, Jay Z appeared to be inspired by jazz crooner Michael Buble – who sang an impromptu duet with a teen fan in a UK gig last year.
Sadly there was no trademark slider across the stage and it’s unlikely Beyonce’s hubby will getting in the studio to recreate some marvellous Christmas covers.
