UK based CEO of luxury firm, Aruba and manager of Hotel Bon Voyage, Jide Smith has come out to reveal that he is HIV positive.
In an emotional post shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, Jide shocked loved ones and fans when he revealed he was HIV positive and has no regrets after testing positive.
When a fan afraid of Nigerians harassing Jide asked him to keep his struggle with the disease from social media, Jide pointed out that he was still rich despite his status. He also seized the opportunity to preach safe sex as popular Nigerian gay men Kenny Brandmuse and Jide Macaulay hailed his bravery.
