Despite buying 99 iPhones, it wasn’t enough to for him to get her say YES.
According to ‘The Nanfang, a young man has had his heart broken by his girlfriend, who declined his marriage proposal.
To propose, the man purchased 99 iPhone 6s, and arranged them on the ground in the form of a heart.
The display reportedly cost him $82,000(N13,841,600), which is his salary for two years.
But she said NO, sadly.
Perhaps he could have just made it 100 iPhones, who knows?
Stories like this that make me think society places an unbalanced burden on men in romantic relationships. She has her reasons for refusing his proposal, but he shouldn’t have had to go through that much trouble/expense in the first place just to propose to her.
