US president Donald Trump has praised the critical role women in America and around the world play in the society.
Trump, who stated this in his message on International Women’s Day said he had “tremendous respect for women”.
“I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy,” he tweeted.
“On International Women’s Day, join me in honouring the critical role of women here in America and around the world.”
