President Donald Trump hits 100 days in the White House and there are hundreds of images that paint the visual picture of the few victories, many failures and flurry of activities that make up his administration.
Some of these photos have been subjects of controversy, others are a pointer to the absence of the First Lady Melania in the White House, many others have made for unforgettable memes and we’ve seen a few that reflect the man who has wielded power he can hardly comprehend.
On Friday, January 20, 2017, Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. before a crowd he claimed was larger than that of former President Obama’s inauguration. A photo shot from the same angle from Obama’s inauguration four years ago proved Trump didn’t get his facts right.
At the inaugural ball later in the day, President Trump was photographed with the First Lady, Melania, his daughter Ivanka and husband, Jared Kushner, Vice President Mike Pence and wife, Karen. At the ball, President Trump said in his speech, “We want to see great things happen for our country we want to make America great again and we will, and we will.“
British Prime Minister Theresa May is the first world leader to meet with President Donald Trump in a two-day visit to the United States.
Eight days into his administration, President Trump places a phone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Oval Office of the White House. He is flanked by White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Vice President Mike Pence, White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, Press Secretary Sean Spicer and National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

President Trump delivers his first address to a joint session of Congress from the floor of the House of Representatives. Behind are Vice President Mike Pence and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Trump said, “To any in Congress who do not believe we should enforce our laws, I would ask you this question: what would you say to the American family that loses their jobs, their income, or a loved one, because America refused to uphold its laws and defend its borders?” His speech at Congress is the most well-received in the administration.
President Trump as he signed the Executive Order withdrawing the US from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. This was one of the 32 executive orders he signed in his first 100 days.
