Former Chairman House committee on Appropriations, Abdulmumin Jibrin has said he would never apologise to Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
The Speaker had earlier on Wednesday, given Jibrin an ultimatum of 7 days to apologise for his ‘false’ accusation.
Jibrin had accused Dogara and three other principal officers of the House of Representatives of padding the 2016 budget with N40bn, which he opposed and consequently led to his sack.
Dogara, who denied the allegations, has told Jibrin to retract his allegations or face legal actions.
Jibrin has however, said he won’t apologise.
I will not and will never apologize to a shameless fraud in high office who has glaringly abused public trust like speaker Dogara&3 others

He also disclosed that he would be submitting a petition against Dogara and all other officers he accused.
Speaker Dogara has threatened legal action on me. Quite predicable.

I know he will rush to court in order to invoke the house rules that matter in court can not be heard on the floor.

He failed to realise that the law is not intended to protect corrupt people. It is such a shame.
