Some soldiers in Kaduna on Friday, February 6, reportedly molested the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Nasir El-rufai in Kaduna State.

According to Rufai’s Media Adviser, Muyiwa Adekeye, who tweeted via his Twitter handle, @muyiwaadekeye, the soldiers attacked El-rufai at the junction of Ahmadu Bello way and Rabah junction in the Kaduna metropolis.

During the affront, the soldiers seized the gun of the police orderly attached to El-Rufai.

Senior officers of the army intervened in the ensuing scenario and brought the situation under control.

Youth who witnessed the development later gathered and shielded El-Rufai, after which they escorted him to Kawo, Muyiwa disclosed.
