She famously dropped 50 pounds and four dress sizes last summer.
And Jordin Sparks proved she had the discipline to keep the weight off as she flaunted her slimmer frame on the May cover of Women’s Running.
The six-foot starlet, who won American Idol in 2007, revealed that she listens to herself and boyfriend Jason Derulo on her iPod while taking on the treadmill.
‘Kanye West, Jay-Z, and I listen to Jason a lot. I can’t help that- It’s just nice to hear his voice,’ Jordin told the fitness magazine.
‘I’ve also been listening to some new uptempo stuff of my own that I’m excited for people to hear.’

The crooning couple, who’ve been dating over two years, are both set to release new albums this year.
‘We kind of butt heads in the studio, a little bit,’ Derulo recently revealed to MTV News.
‘We kind of work differently and we’re very used to being in the studio, but being in the studio our way. So you know, it could get kind of ugly in there sometimes but we made it happen.
‘It’s a beautiful thing. We did a few songs together; one will be on her album, one will be on mine.’
‘The No Air songstress said, ‘Watching my dad was one of my biggest inspirations. There are days I don’t want to get up, let alone run, and Jason’s a great motivator.’
Jordin, who’s dream running buddy is Fergie, will also allow whatever track she hears determine her jogging intervals.
‘I put my iPod on shuffle,’ said Sparks. ‘If it’s a slow song, I turn the incline way up and jog to the beat. If a faster song comes on, I turn the incline down and watch the miles fly by.’
And Jason recently confessed that Jordin has been so enthusiastic she’s started sending him pictures of engagement rings.
‘It’ll happen when the time is right,’ the In My Head crooner reassured Ryan Seacrest on his radio show.
Sparks is clearly head over heels with Derulo spending Sunday afternoon tweeting the lyrics of Jason’s new track The Other Side from his upcoming summer album.
