The Lagos State Government has concluded plans to introduce strict sanctions against the promotion of drug abuse in music videos.that would prevent such music from being aired in the state.
This means such music would not be aired in the state.

The state government added that plans have also been concluded to end open drugs sales in the state, lamenting that the drugs were often sold without obtaining a license or medical advice to residents.
The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, disclosed this Sunday while flagging off sensitisation campaign on drug abuse, at Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
Mrs Akinbile-Yusuf, who expressed concern over drug abuse among youth in the state, said that the government would never shy away from activities affecting residents.
