A man was arrested after he used a doggy door to gain access into his neighbor’s house to have sex with a woman.
Philip John Garcia, 41, from Perris, California was jailed after he allegedly crawled into his neighbor’s house and then tried to have sex with the woman who lived in the residence.
As Garcia’s neighbor was preparing to go to sleep around 9:30 pm, she heard a knock on her bedroom door. The woman, whose husband had just left for work, opened the door to find Garcia standing before her without any clothes on. Garcia, who appeared to have been intoxicated, told the woman that he was there to have sex with her, according to the Office of the Riverside County Sheriff.
When she recognized that it was his neighbor, she ordered him out of his house and closed the door in his face. Garcia fled the house and returned to his residence.
“This is very scary indeed. Although, officer’s believe that alcohol might have played a role in the incident, the man’s mind was clear enough as he waited until the husband left, and he found a way to enter the locked house,” Barbara Collins, 42, from Las Vegas, California told YourJewishNews.com after she heard about the arrest.
When deputies arrived at the scene, and peered through Garcia’s residence window they saw him lying on a bed with no clothes on. They asked him to put on some clothes and come to the door for questioning.
When asked why he was in the house of his neighbor, Garcia explained that he crawled through a dog door with the intention of having sex with the woman. When they searched his home, they found a .22 caliber rifle under the bed. Officers believe he was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
