The drama just would not end.
After Nigeria’s first-choice goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama quit the national team, popular football analyst and radio presenter, Oma Akatugba, claims that influential players such as Mikel Obi and Emmanuel Emenike pleaded with him to reverse his decision.
According to Oma Akatugba, the pleas by the duo fell on deaf ears, as the shot stopper seemed to have his mind all made up.
Akatugba wrote this on his Facebook page: “Vincent Enyeama has left d camp of the Super Eagles. Mikel, Emenike and few other players speaking with him to remain.
“It looks like issues have not been resolved. As you read he is about to drive off in this Bentley behind us.”
