Set in Lagos, the story follows a nightclub owner who is running out of time and must pass down her club to her quiet daughter. But when the daughter’s long-lost father, a soldier, suddenly returns, old wounds open up. As family tensions rise, music becomes their way to heal.
“Dust to Dreams” stars well-known Nollywood actors like Nse Ikpe-Etim, Eku Edewor, Atlanta Bridget Johnson, and former Nigerian Idol contestant Constance Olatunde. British singer-songwriter Seal also makes a special appearance.
Created and produced by Mo Abudu and directed by Idris Elba while Heidi Uys is the supervising producer and Temidayo Makanjuola, Inem King, and Vanessa Demme are co-producers.
Speaking about the film, Elba shared, “This project was a true collaboration. It was made because family matters, and love never fades.”
