Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, who was kicked out of office at the PDP National Convention, has retaken his position as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
After the convention of he PDP, Ahmed Markafi was appointed as the Chairman of the party’s caretaker committee.
This action, according to Sheriff, is illegal considering the fact that a court judgement had ruled that the convention of the PDP must not hold.
In protest of what he perceived to be injustice, Sheriff on Monday, stormed the PDP secretariat, Wadata Plaza.
After being initially denied entry by security operatives, Sheriff has now gotten into the complex and is now acting as PDP Chairman.
