President Muhammadu Buhari has said despite the challenges Nigeria faces, it is destined to achieve greatness.
Buhari said this in Sokoto on Saturday when he inaugurated the Kalambaina 500 housing estate built by the state government at the cost N4.8 billion.
“The administration will continue to bring development to Nigerians, improve security and welfare of Nigerians,” he said.
He recalled how Nigeria witnessed peace, national development and culture of discipline in the 1960s.
“Unfortunately, the situation had changed now, but we are committed to taking Nigeria to greatness.
“The relevance of the caliphate in the scheme of things in Nigeria cannot be over emphasised,” Buhari added.
He also urged Nigerians to continue working towards the development of the country.
