Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has thrown another jab at the Federal Government saying Nigeria is sick as a result of the ineffectual policies pursued by it.
Abubakar who is vying to be the flagbearer of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) said this in Ekiti on Sunday while inaugurating a 32-bed hospital built by a member, representing the Ekiti Federal Constituency 1 in the House of Representatives, Mr. Bimbo Daramola.
Answering questions from journalists, Atiku said, “Certainly, Nigeria is not healthy. When you look at the economy and insecurity in the country, you will know that certainly, Nigeria is not healthy.
“The only thing that can salvage Nigeria’s situation is to seize the opportunity to bring about a change by voting in the APC.”
Atiku reacted to calls made by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that urging the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, to step down after defecting to the APC.
According to him, it is “irresponsible” for the PDP to expect Tambuwal to step down after making the decisive move.
The Joan Taiwo Daramola Memorial Hospital, Ire-Ekiti, with fully automated laboratory and well-equipped diagnostic centre, is to be run by the Anglican Church that owns and runs Ile Abiye Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.
Very well said sir. I believe with the APC good governance, better life and peace will surly return to Nigeria. #ANigeriaForAll.
Saint Atiku should know that Nigerians don’t have short memories,if Nigeria is truely sick like he said then Nigerians knew that Atiku is among those who infected nigeria with the§e sicknes, runing to apc doesn’t change him from what he used to be and what Nigerians know him to be.APC is not better than PDP. APC play dangerous politics, they never see anything good in their opnents, their type of oposition is distructive not constructÍve, pull him down syndrom.Imagine pot calling cattle black. The two parties are made up of criminals.Nigerians skould just pray for GODs intervention.
