Olaiya Oni, an erstwhile Minister of Education, is dead.
Aged 72, Oni reportedly died on Sunday, at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Owo, Ondo state.
The former chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, was said to have been suffering from a yet-to-be disclosed ailment.
On had been sick for the past three months and was being treated in his hometown in Ekiti state.
