North Korea threatens to attack American military base in Guam

President Trump’s threat to unleash “fire and fury” against North Korea should they provoke the US, has sent an uptight consideration down the order around Asia. Allies and foes are relating with the imminent possibility of military conflict over the North’s nuclear program.

North Korea has responded by saying it would attack Guam, a strong American Military Base if attacked.

Analysts and observers are of the opinion that the escalating statements would increase the likelihood of a war and can even stem up provocative attacks if any of the warring side should misunderstand the other.

South Korea and Japan have surprisingly postulated that the situation has not reached a crisis point despite its imposed panicking.

However, a professor of international relations with the University of China, Cheng Xiaohe has said, “We’re going to see a confrontation between the United States and North Korea that will be ferocious and strong and bloody,” he dubbed Trump’s language “explosive,” and said the threat and responses had resulted in a new stage of confrontation.
