Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday paid a private visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
Although the reason and details of their meeting is unknown but reports claim the visit was for Obasanjo to intercede on behalf of the wife of a former president of Nigeria, late Umaru Yar’Adua, Turai Yar’adua.
Obasanjo reportedly discussed other matters of national interest but there are speculation that it is connected with the earlier visit by Turai to Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital based on the timing.
Turai earlier gone to Obasanjo to help persuade President Muhammadu Buhari not to probe her daughter and other family members.
She also pleaded with Obasanjo to prevail on Buhari not to harass or victimize her family members or those who worked with her husband.
to think OBJ would go on such a mission? Me don’t think so.
