Osinbajo reiterates the government’s commitment to fighting corruption

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reiterated that the present administration is really committed to fighting corruption.

Osinbajo, who disclosed this in Lagos at the 3rd Annual Christopher Kolade Lecture On Business Integrity, said it was not possible for anyone without integrity to still have integrity in his business.

“Integrity must reflect in behavior. It is an accepted standard,” he said.

Punch reports Osinbajo said that the vision and mission of the present administration was to give meaning to the life of every Nigerian, explaining that the decision to fight corruption was in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.

In his remark, Christopher Kolade lamented that Nigerians almost resigned their fate to the dominance of corruption in all sections of the nation’s life.

“If we look at our society today, we have almost resigned to corruption. The world would be a better place if every man can stand for integrity. Integrity is something that is meant to be natural to human being but with the situation of the country, it is hard to practise integrity,” he said.
