The erratic electricity supply in Nigeria is one of the things the country has become infamous for all around the world.

From young children saying ‘Up NEPA’ as their first phrase to that CNN broadcast by Christiane Amanpour, electricity in Nigeria is as unreliable as they come.

In fact, it is so unreliable that even the electricity providers appear to have given up – trying its hands on other business ventures, as can be seen above. Selling loaves of bread may be the way to go, right?
