Paul Pogba has been granted permission by Juventus Football Club to have a medical at Old Trafford ahead of his transfer to Manchester United.
Manchester United confirmed it in a statement on their website on Sunday.
The statement said, “Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United”.
Pogba’s £100m transfer will break football’s transfer record previously held by Welshman Gareth Bale who signed for Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur for £85m in September 2013.
Pogba, a product of United’s academy joined Juventus for £800,000 in 2012.
