In its bid to tackle crime, over 33 suspected criminals have been paraded by the Rivers State Police Command.
Commissioner of Police in Rivers state, Francis Odesanya while parading the suspects, said he “will not tolerate the illegal arrest and detention of innocent members of the public, but will be committed in the fight against crime and criminality in Rivers state. ”
Among those paraded include fifteen suspected cultists, four suspected kidnappers who use military uniform and fourteen suspected armed robbers.
Also paraded were six teenagers who rob ATM customers after their transaction.
Sophisticated weapons and assorted charms used by the suspects to carry out their operation were also displayed during the parade.
