President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday inaugurated six national commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The inauguration was made during a meeting of the Federal Executive Council in the Presidential Villa Abuja.

Those inaugurated included Dr. Ogunmola Ladipo (South West); Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu (South South); Abubakar Nahuche (North West); Prof. Okechukwu Ibeano (South East); Mr. Muhammadu Haruna (North Central); and AVM Ahmad Muazu (retd.) (North East).

The President said his administration was committed to ensuring a fair electoral process.

According to him, Nigerians should be able to elect their leaders.
