The proprietress and 2 staff of a primary school in Oyo have been arrested after the body of a young pupil was found within their premises.
The body of 5-year-old Waziri Yekini was found in a septic in Thy Grace Nursery and Primary School.
The incident occurred at the Elebu area of Moniya in the Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.
Leadership reports:
Public relations officer of the state police command, SP Olabisi Ilobanafor who confirmed the incident in Ibadan yesterday, said the boy was taken to the General Hospital, Moniya where he was confirmed dead.
She said his remains had been buried by the family while the incident was still being investigated, adding that no foul play had been suspected.
