Former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who later became a whistleblower before ascending to the throne of the Kano Emirate, may have been a prophet, or an economist with foresight.
In a 2011 video as he defended fuel subsidy removal alongside finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sanusi could be seen prophesying that if subsidy is not removed then the next administration will suffer it.
He noted that the then administration of Jonathan will be able to pay subsidy till 2015 but any government in power after then will suffer deep economic consequences, as it will be unable to maintain the debt burden.
Not only did he foresee a different President coming to power in 2015 but he also foretold the economic crunch Nigeria is currently experiencing.

But General Muhammadu Buhari (fresh out of his lose in 2011 presidential election, his third loss and final loss) had this to say about fuel subsidy:
But… Then again… Subsidy doesn't exist and only fraudulent people claim it does. pic.twitter.com/F12GRZkjKJ
