Following the recent revelation by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) about the current state of Nigeria’s economy, the minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun took to Twitter to console Nigerians that the economy will bounce back with time and patience.
Her approach to this has upset a lot of Nigerians on the social media app and they’re not holding their feelings back.
We selected some tweets that show how pissed off people are:
Kemi Adeosun says recession is just a word.
Very revealing to be honest.
For a moment, I thought it was a sentence.

“recession is just a word” – Kemi Adeosun.
