Buhari’s ministerial list is reportedly ready

Exactly 4 months after his inauguration as President, the ministerial list of Muhammadu Buhari, is ready for ratification.

The President has directed that the document containing the list should be submitted to the Senate, when it resumes from its six-week break on Tuesday, September 29.

Buhari gave the ministerial list to his Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang, and instructed him to hand it over to the Senate President.

Senator Enang is in the delegation of the President, attending the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly,  in New York.

Enang left New York for Nigeria on Monday and will arrive Abuja by evening on Tuesday.

After receiving the list from Enang, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki is expected to formally present Buhari’s ministerial list to senators on Wednesday.

President Buhari had assured Nigerians that he would appoint the members of his cabinet before the end of September.

At this rate, the list may be presented to the Senate on the last day of September.
