In an hour of anguish and terror for most families who lost their loved ones in one of the worst days in the history of the City of Love, one man is thanking his stars… and his phone for coming to his rescue.
Sylvester would surely be very grateful to the makers of his smartphone as the product saved his life by blocking the flying shrapnel that may have blown him to bits.
The survivor said he was walking near the Stade de France and had just finished answering a phone call when he heard an explosion.
He said: “I was crossing the street and straight away, boom, it exploded right in front of me.Everything was blown to bits and i felt stuff flying around and I left, I fell and then I got back up.”
