Twelve people have been left dead after gunmen attacked Paris based Charlie Hebdo, an anti-Islamic satirical magazine.
Two masked men had, earlier today, burst into the Charlie Hebdo headquarters, opening fire on staff with Kalashnikovs rifles.
Police officers engaged the men in a firefight, but they escaped in a hijacked car, and sped away towards east Paris.
Apart from the 12 people that are dead, 10 people are wounded, while four are in critical condition.
