Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on Monday visited former Vice President, Alex Ekwueme, who is receiving medical treatment in a London hospital.

Background:

• Ekwueme was admitted in a hospital in Enugu after suffering a chest infection.
• President Muhammadu Buhari later ordered that Ekwueme be flown out of the country for treatment.

What is happening:

In a tweet via its handle, the presidency said the SGF also conveyed Buhari’s goodwill to Ekwueme.
