After falling 12 feet into her husband’s grave, a woman has died.

An elderly Italian wife has died as she was cleaning her husband’s grave.

Antonietta Testa, 75, was cleaning the tomb when the marble broke, causing her to fall to the bottom of the grave, a drop of 12 feet.

The retiree managed was said to have initially survived the fall, RaiNews 24 reported.

Emergency services rushed to the cemetery and were able to lift the woman from her husband’s grave on a stretcher.

She was rushed to hospital suffering from a broken thigh bone.

However, when Mrs. Testa got to the hospital she went into a state of shock and suffered a heart attack. She died in the hospital.
